SALEM, OR – Oregon Anti-Crime Alliance PAC announced today it has endorsed Chris Dudley in the 2010 Gubernatorial Primary race. Please view the endorsement on our website www.oaaoregon.com.
“Chris Dudley recognizes that one of the most important roles of government is to protect its people. He has vowed to ensure that Oregon's public safety system continues to support law enforcement and corrections policies that have contributed to driving our crime rates down to historic forty year lows,” said Tara Lawrence, Co-Director for (OAA) PAC.
“We have met with Chris on several occasions and are confident that he will be a strong voice and champion of public safety issues, which is why we enthusiastically give him our support in the upcoming gubernatorial primary election,” Lawrence added.
Dudley’s values tie in perfectly with the OAA mission to reduce crime and enhance public safety by bringing Oregon’s citizens together to reform Oregon’s government and policies.
“Chris Dudley stands firmly behind preserving Measure 11, the law that requires minimum mandatory jail sentences for violent crimes. He has a sound policy on public safety, and will go to bat to protect our citizens,” Lawrence concluded.
The Oregon Anti-Crime Alliance is a 501(c)3 organization that seeks to reduce crime and enhance public safety by bringing Oregon’s citizens together to reform Oregon’s government and policies.
